What do you desire most in life? Do you desire Apple’s iPad 2? Perhaps you are waiting for the new iPad 3 to be released next Spring in Early 2012, but while you wait you want to indulge in Amazon’s Kindle Fire, because it oozes with fanciful features at a fraction of the price. Maybe, you desire to be rich and famous and you have signed up for Britain’s Got Talent, or American’s Got Talent. Who knows, and yes, I am generalising here! You could well be conservative in your desire and wish for good health and happiness, as you don’t know what tomorrow holds. It sounds like a very wise perspective in life, which many will struggle to agree, as folk tend to invest in the future, than focus on the present day – our gift. Seriously? What happens if there was no tomorrow? At least you still have today to enjoy and make the best of what you have, whatever big or small that may be. You can desire earthy success through wealth and reputation, but not have the health or time to enjoy it. Or you can desire a faith in something. For some, faith can be on an idea, or a concept that may bring temporary hope. For others, they choose to have faith in Christ Jesus as their LORD and Saviour. Not only do they desire to invest in their future Salvation, but through the gift and anointing of the Holy Spirit, they can live today in peace and joy.

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. -Ephesians 3:19 (NLT)
